welll.... not really for me. But I will say that I loved Colin Farrell in Minority Report, SWAT and Phone Booth. I'm sorta meh on his other work. I have been disappointed with his other stuff. I think he can do better.

I'm really looking forward to Clash of the Titans!

I love Swat and Phone Booth too, I saw In Bruges and hated it, Minority Report I just need to hate because of that short ass freak in it, but I will say Colin was the only good thing about it.

Hey :D Was directed here by a friend - I co-run a Gemma Arterton fansite. I'm still waiting for that mag to reach me and wanted to ask if it's okay if we put your scans up until I can make my own. Full credit will be given, of course. :D The site in question is gemma-arterton.net :D
Either way, thanks for sharing - I'm in love with that cover. *g*
Pam[info]ewris on February 13th, 2010 10:08 am (UTC)
Hi there! yes of course you can, I scanned them to share with whoever finds them, LOL so help yourself. I love that cover too, the cartoonish effect is amazing!

I'm dying to see Prince of Persia myself. Jake!! Loving that physique, dude.

You didn't like In Bruges?? I love that movie. Colin is amazing in it, and I love Brendan Gleeson in it too. I hadn't remembered that Colin got a Golden Globe for it; that's awesome. I recently saw Tigerland, and I was most impressed. Phone Booth was really good too. Colin doesn't get enough respect, he's a great actor. Quite easy on the eyes as well. :)

Thanks for all the great scans, Pam. &hearts

He buffed up well! I have to stop thinking of him as the kid in The Day After Tomorrow! *feels like such a perv*

I didn't mean In Bruges was a bad movie I just didn't like it, it's been a while since I watched it, if I remember right it was a freezer movie! (Friends reference) LOL maybe I'll give it another chance. I haven't seen Tigerland, *makes note* my favourites are Swat & Phone Booth! he's not bad on the eyes! LOL
Anika[info]honscot on February 14th, 2010 06:26 am (UTC)
Watch Donnie Darko, then you'll really feel like a perv. LOL. I just saw it again recently, and I had forgotten how young he is in it - like high school student young. Still so cute, though. :) Oh, I liked The Day After Tomorrow. I found it quite entertaining. I like those destroy-the-world special effects.

Freezer movie?? You lost me on that one. I've never seen Swat. Guess I'll head over to Netflix and add it to the queue, even though my queue runneth over. :D
Pam: E-Daydreamer[info]ewris on February 14th, 2010 01:22 pm (UTC)
*smacks head* I've seen Donnie Darko but not for ages, must watch it again!

Yeah I love those kinds of movies, did you see 2012? not as good but still entertaining!

Friends the TV show, a character called Joey keeps The Shinning (book) in the freezer because it scared him, another character Rachel talks him into reading Little women because there's nothing scary in it, but it also ends up in the freezer because a death upset him, LOL so now whenever I watch something scary or upsetting it's a freezer movie. LOL

I LOVE Friends! I forgot about the book show. Joey was such a riot. Well, they all were. Boy oh boy, he was right about The Shining. That thing scared the poop out of me! Freezer movie - LOL! I'm going to use that from now on. :D We're thinking about going to see The Wolfman tomorrow, though I think that has freezer movie written all over it, judging by the trailer. It'll probably scare me to death, and then I'll be sorry we went. I really like Benicio Del Toro, though, so I may take the chance.

Yeah, there's definitely some violence in In Bruges, and plenty of blood, so maybe you won't want to see it again. This is too funny: Jorge told me last night that his brother and nephews are going to Bruges this summer! You know why? Because they watched the movie with me and loved the look of the place, and now they want to see it for themselves. Bruges should pay me a royalty! Hee. I'd actually like to go there myself, it looks stunning.

Me too, never missed an episode! they were hilarious especially Joey and he was cute too! I love that idea, you know Cassandra's Dream is also a freezer movie! LOL

Oh yes Woolfman definitely has freezer potential! LOL let me know if you go and what you think of it.

The violence and blood aren't what make In Bruges a freezer movie it was the twists at the end, I really need to watch it again because I can't remember it too well.
That is funny! but not as funny as people getting depressed because they can't go to Pandora! LMAO
Anika: chevalier chuckle[info]honscot on February 14th, 2010 06:30 pm (UTC)
What?! Those people need to get back in touch with reality. Sheesh. (I didn't actually read any of these articles, just ogled the pictures. ;D)

I added 2010 to my Netflix queue too. I had forgotten that I wanted to see that one. Man, so many movies, so little time...
Pam: E-Sexy Beast stance[info]ewris on February 15th, 2010 12:18 am (UTC)
I know! they must be so sad and lonely! LOL yes the picture are the best thing really!

I hope you'll like it, let me know when you've seen it, like I said it wasn't as good as The Day after Tomorrow but it was entertaining plus John Cussack is cute!

He is! He's been a favorite of mine for years. I could start naming off movies of his that I love too, but I'll spare you. :)
siriala: Jake Gyllenhaal 1 by valo_queen[info]siriala on February 14th, 2010 01:17 pm (UTC)
I might be a little interested... Jake ! Sam ! and even Colin when he's at his best like in Bruges. I'm curious about this Ondine movie. The only play I ever did at school was Jean Giraudoux's Ondine (playing an old fisherman at something like 11 or 12 ;D), I'll try and see if it has anything to do with it.

You always have the best scans, my queen. Thanks for giving me something to read :D
